K9 Search UK - Service Changes - Covid-19

COVID-19 - RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE - DO NOT VISIT ANY STRAY KENNELS - PHONE FIRST!

Due to the recent Government guidelines regarding the Covid-19 virus we have had to make some changes to our services, details are as follows:

Lost Dogs:

We are asking owners to be extremely careful with their dogs, please do not take an unnecessary risks. Do not let your dog’s off lead on walks. Do not leave dogs alone in gardens – always supervise. When opening doors and windows, be sure your dog cannot escape. Make sure dogs have identification, collar with tagged details and a microchip with current contact information.

Found Dogs:

Vets have also introduced procedures to keep their staff and clients safe. This means that some practices have stopped the scanning of stray dogs. If you find a stray dog and there is no form of visible identification please contact the area dog warden for assistance.

Our Service:

The easiest way to request our help is to complete the relevant form on our main website www.k9searchuk.com and follow the on screen instructions. This part of our service is available 24 hours a day. You must ensure that the form is completed fully.

As soon as your report is active, you will receive a confirmation text message from us. If you have any updates you can simply reply to our text message. Please remember our team of administrators are all volunteers with families and work commitments, so please be patient.

Home Check, Home Visit, Transport Requests, Microchip Scanning, Postering & Searches:

We are extremely sorry but we are unable to assist at present due to the social distancing measures currently in place.

How You Can Help

We are extremely lucky to have you amazing people supporting the dogs and us. We are asking our supporters to help by sharing our alerts far and wide to local vet pages, other lost and found groups, buy & sell groups (if permitted). Together we can make a difference resulting in more dogs being reunited.

Please note our website carries a wide range of local information, please use it to its capacity, its all there.
